Selected for the Australians in Film Writer’s Room, Sandra developed her award-winning YA/Fantasy Trilogy novels, “The Cecilia Series.” Her latest novel, “Making Friends With Monsters,” is an IngramSpark bestseller and a Booklife Prize Semi-finalist. She has published a personal essay with Good Housekeeping and was an Associate Producer on Lionsgate’s “Boy Kills World” and PBS’s “The Greatest Bond.”
Sandra is an Academy Nicholl Fellowship semi-finalist. Born in Sydney, Australia, she graduated from the University of Sydney with a BAppSc and holds an MBA from LaSierra University, CA. She studied film & entertainment at UCLA and her debut screenplay, Life on Mars made the top 200 of the Page International Screenwriting Competition and the quarterfinals of the ASA Competition.
